Home Care Veterinary Services, PLLC ("HCVS," “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients and patients. The HCVS Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, manage, and protect information provided by clients when they opt-in to receive SMS and/or email communications from us.
1. Information Collection: By opting in to receive SMS and/or email communications, you consent to our collection of certain personal information, including but not limited to:
• Client Information: Your mobile phone number and other contact details.
• Patient Information: Their health, treatment, and appointment details.
2. Purpose of SMS and/or Email Communications: We use SMS and/or email communications to enhance your experience and ensure effective communication. Messages may include:
• Appointment reminders, confirmations, and scheduling changes.
• Updates regarding your pet’s health, treatments, and medications.
• Notifications about services, promotions, or events that may directly affect your pet.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure: We will not share your mobile number, email, or other private information with third parties, except in the following situations:
• Service Providers: We may share data with third-party SMS and/or email service providers to deliver messages effectively.
• Legal Requirements: As required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our hospital, staff, or clients.
4. Security of Your Information: We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal data. We use secure technology and adhere to industry standards to prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of your information. Our VOIP system is Grasshopper, email is Outlook, EMR/PIMs is Shepherd, and online pharmacy is Vetsource.
5. Opting Out of SMS and/or Email Communications: You may opt out of SMS and/or email communications at any time. Please note that opting out of SMS, email, or other communications may affect our ability to provide various services, timely reminders, or updates. For example, the Patient Portal requires an email address to access your pet's data; if you withhold sharing an email address with us, you are unable to access the Patient Portal but may still access data via manual request for records directly. To stop receiving messages:
• Reply “STOP” to any SMS message or email you receive from us.
• Send an email with the subject "STOP" to info@HCVServices.com.
6. Changes to The HCVS Privacy Policy: We may update the HCVS Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify clients of significant changes via email and social media posts.
