Home Care Veterinary Services, PLLC ("HCVS," “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to caring for our patients and their owners.  By using the HCVS website and services, you agree to be bound by the following HCVS Terms and Conditions ("Terms").  Please read them carefully.

1. Website Ownership and Updating Terms: This website (the "Site") is owned and operated by Dr. Sarahbeth Barlas, DVM.  All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of HCVS (via Dr. Sarahbeth Barlas, DVM) and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.  You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.  You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or otherwise exploit any content without express written permission directly from Dr. Sarahbeth Barlas, DVM.  By accessing and using the Site, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.  We may update or modify the HCVS Terms at any time without prior notice.  It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes (see "Updated Date" above).  Your continued use of the Site and our services after any such updates signifies your acceptance of any revised Terms.

2.1. Use of Services - Eligibility, Liability, and Client Etiquette:  Appointments for our services can be made through the Site.  The services provided are subject to availability.  A person 18 years or older must be present during any appointment.  HCVS cannot be held liable if a pet bites, scratches, or otherwise injures a person, animal, or property during an appointment.  Please be advised ANY form of the following may result in termination of any further relationship with HCVS: Yelling | Profanity | Name-calling | Demanding | Disparaging Comments (in-person, by phone, or online) | Threats | Acts of Violence. 

2.2. Use of Services - Guarantees of Services: While we strive to provide the best veterinary care under our A Whole Health Approach methodology, we cannot guarantee outcomes.  Veterinary care, like any medical service, involves risks with results that may vary depending on a patient's health, condition, response to treatment, and owner compliance.  In no event will HCVS, its owners, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.  We make every effort to notify you of these possibilities. 

2.3. Use of Services - Cancellation Policy and Payment for Services: We request at least 48-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling whenever possible.  Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee and/or termination of further services.  Payment for services is due at the time of service unless otherwise stated while booking.  We accept cash (no change available), Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Paypal.

3. User Responsibility - Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when making appointments or using our services.  You also agree to promptly update any information as changes occur.  Understand, failure to update HCVS of medical changes for a patient may result in serious medical complications. 

4. Opting Out of SMS and/or Email Communications: You may opt out of SMS and/or email communications at any time.  Please note that opting out of SMS, email, or other communications may affect our ability to provide various services, timely reminders, or updates.  For example, the Patient Portal requires an email address to access your pet's data; if you withhold sharing an email address with us, you are unable to access the Patient Portal but may still access data via manual request for records directly.  For more details, please review the HCVS Privacy Policy.  To stop receiving messages:

• Reply “STOP” to any SMS message or email you receive from us.

• Send an email with the subject "STOP" to info@HCVServices.com.

5. Links to Third-Party Websites: Our website may contain links to third-party websites for your convenience.  These linked websites are not under our control, and we are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites.  We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of these websites before using them.

6. Governing Law: The HCVS Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canton, Michigan, United States of America.  Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved in the courts located in Canton, Michigan.
